THE GARDEN CITY SUMMER WORKSHOP
This project intends to teach students in planning, architecture and Landscape architecture about the planning ideals commonly considered to be a part of the garden city paradigm and their re-interpretation overtime. To this end, we imagine the creation of a summer course during which students from the University of Oregon, Renmin University and other institutions that may want to join this research effort will try to bridge theories and practice though the participation in planning and design projects identified by local planners and leaders as having a primary importance.
